Harvested Plastics sources high quality LDPE scrap, helping the environment by reducing both the greenhouse gases released in the manufacturing of plastic and the amount of post-consumer plastic dumped in landfills. Producing virgin plastic is one of the most harmful industrial processes for the environment. Further, the number of active landfills grows each day, as does the potential for leakage and other environmental hazards. To counter these damaging effects on our environment, we work with manufacturers to replace their current virgin plastic consumption with used agricultural plastic. The simple re-use of this plastic has a profound effect on raw material costs for our customers while fulfilling the social responsibility of manufacturers, farmers and consumers alike.
